Have you ever wanted to learn how to Bboy/Bgirl, the traditional dance of Hip-Hop? Asia One, has 17+ years experience as a practitioner of this dance form, herstory in the game. I will take you on a journey to the core essence of Bboying/Bgirling, how it is done, the swagger, along with strength and conditioning necessary to achieve skill at this dance. This class is called Power Tools with the objective being how to harness power and have it impact your style, because power is a necessary part of this dance, not a style.

Papoluv Rocking Workshop
The Legendary Papo-Luv has been around the traditional Brooklyn Style of Up-Rockin since the start of it all…1973. A legend to Legends, Pop Master Fabel has Highlighted Papo in his documentary on Rockin and has called Papo his Favorite. Papo Represents His Crew BVD (Brooklyn Visious Dancers) and his family BATTLEHOLEX .In the workshop you will be learning lessons on the differences in styles through out Rockins history. You will be learning Disses and Burns and the meaning behind some classic movements. You will also be taught some new techniques formulated by the Icon Himself!

La Casa del Fonk was created with the intent to re-infuse the youth of today with the fundamentals of what a real Hip Hop jam is and how these jams unify all elements of Hip-Hop under one roof. “Leave your guns at home and bring ya skillz to the battle.” –Jeru. We will be hosting an urban spray can art 2 vs 2 contest outside the Venue, as well as “Earn Your Stripes” Bboy/Bgirl cyphers inside the venue hosted this year by iconic Hip-Hop event Bboy Summit! Bboys & bgirls will be judged by special guests on the following categories.
- Crew colors & gear
- How your crew is representing in the cyphers and throughout the day
This is a new criteria that will be part of our annual summer jam. The Idea behind the “Earn Your Stripes Cypher” is strictly a about No Easy Props to be respected in this culture you must “Earn Your Stripes”. There is one goal to be achieved……make a name for your self and your crew in the hip hop community. This is for your honor & Reputation..

In tribute to the first Hip Hop Shop in Denver, Co. opened by Asia One and named La Casa Del Fonk. La Casa Del Fonk was a staple in the Denver Hip Hop Community helping unite Hip-Hop heads from different sides of town and helping with the foundation for the second wave of Hip-Hop culture and foundation here in Denver.
